SHEPHERDSTOWN, VW. The Contemporary American Theatre Festival (CATF) announces that MY LORD, WHAT A NIGHT by Deborah Brevoort will premiere in their 2019 season, directed by CATF Artistic Director Ed Herendeen.
The Contemporary American Theater Festival produces the newest plays in America, in the oldest town in West Virginia. Named as one of the top theater festivals in the world, by publications such as The New York Times, American Theatre, and World Guide, the Contemporary American Theater Festival shapes the future of American theater. Each summer, the Festival produces six new plays in rotating repertory. In addition to MY LORD, WHAT A NIGHT, the 2019 season will include: A WELCOME GUEST by Michael Weller; ANTONIO’S SONG (I WAS DREAMING OF A SON) by Dael Orlandersmith and Antonio Edwards Suarez; SUPPORT GROUP FOR MEN by Ellen Fairey; WRECKED by Greg Kalleres; CHESTER BAILEY by Joseph Dougherty.
